Math anxiety is real.
Students don’t have to face it alone.

I start each tutoring session with a quick check‑in where students can share anything their brain is bringing into the session. It’s a simple way to help them settle in and shift into learning mode at their own pace. 

After we’ve grounded and checked in, we focus on the student’s priorities for the day, whether that's homework questions, test preparation, or the underlying concepts. 

My tutoring sessions feel like a conversation, not a lecture. We explore ideas together, ask “what if?” questions, and experiment with different ways of approaching a problem. 

At the end of each session, we pause for a quick “what clicked today” moment. This gives students a chance to name the insight or shift that felt most meaningful and helps them leave with a clear sense of progress. 

Introductory Rate: $35/hr  

This special rate is available for the next 5 new students!

These students will keep the $35/hr rate for the entire Fall 2026 semester.

After these five spots are filled, new students will be billed at my standard rate. 

Standard Rate: $45/hr

Students who begin tutoring at this rate will keep the $45/hr rate for the entire Fall 2026 semester, providing consistency and predictable pricing throughout the term.

I keep payment simple and flexible. There are no contracts or commitments, and sessions can be scheduled as needed.

• For in‑person sessions, payment can be made with cash, check or Venmo at the start of the session.

• For online sessions, payment is made with PayPal when the session is scheduled.

If a session needs to be canceled or rescheduled, I just ask for as much notice as possible so I can offer the time to another student.
